Marguerita Grill

Visit Marguerita Grill for waterfront dining in Homosassa. Enjoy seafood and certified black angus steaks and chicken dishes. We hear that the home-made dressing is delicious. Try a Ceasar Salad with blackened salmon. Yum! I’ve been here a few times and I really enjoy the rustic setting and you can dine out back near the water and watch the boats go by. Home of the Jumbo Marguerita and friendly people. Come by car or come by boat. Either way you’re in for a treat.

So Sad… arrived in Homosassa for a weekend of scalloping and went to Marguerita Grill for dinner. It’s gone, Marguerita Grill is gone. Burnt to the ground. So so so sad. Their Greek Salad was to die for – the ribs, the Churasco…. oh dear, NO MORE CHURASCO! Nooooooooooooooo……………………….

Another car just pulled up. There are 4 vehicles here with us as I write this. Strangers meeting in the parking lot – all from out of the area – all shocked to discover this amazing restaurant is no more. All hoping the restaurant will be rebuilt. All hoping we will wake up and this will have been a bad dream. I am going to bed hungry tonight. So Sad…

Unfortunately the Marguerita Grill burned down. It was my favorite place to go, great food and good service.

I hope they are able to rebuild.

My wife and I lived in OakRun (Near Ocala) from 2002 to 2006. During this time we visited Margarita Grill numerous times; along with family and friends. We loved the place and the patriotic owner. We were sad to see it had burned down. Today (March 6,2019) we discovered it was again in operation. That is great news! We will plan on visiting the area next winter and will definitely be visiting. Ed/Sandy Berger

I came across this link and re-read it and it is way out of date. Tommy re-opened the Margarita Grill some time ago and I have been there at least a dozen times in the past couple of years. The service is getting better for an employee starved area and Tommy is making great food again and the pace is constantly adding more and more memorabilia like the former grill prior to losing it all in the fire. If anyone else wants the new number it is 352.628.1336. I highly recommend the place just watch out for your wife when Tommy is around. He loves to sneak in a hug or two. lol

Had lunch at Marguerita Grill on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 (yes it was rebuilt) and food was delicious as was the marguerita. Had the fish basket and the fish was delicious, fresh with light breading and cooked to perfection (it was Alaska white fish). Can’t wait to eat the fish again and in fact going for lunch there tomorrow. Price was reasonable and service was great.

The worst service by a bartender ever. Was not interested in getting a drink or food for me. I waited 10 min to get a drink and had to ask for a menu, remind her I needed to order and ask for the check. Very disengaged except for the social circle of waitresses. We spend 6 months a year here and will never darken the doors again. Food was adequate but not as good as before.

Had lunch here today and went back for dinner with friends. The food and the service were fantastic Everyone loved their meal and we especially loved the tribute to America. This place gets a 5+ star rating from all of us.

Hey Allison….. How about an update! A lot has happened since 2008! Obviously, the place has been rebuilt and looks and feels GREAT! Only issue I could possibly point out is the lack of parking…the lot is very small but our service, dinner and the ambiance were great! She started to sample the different flavors of Margaritas, it’s nearly endless and I really enjoyed my basket of blackened grouper bites. Proud to be an American and enjoy the experience with these folks. So Allison, for the love of God and Country….. update your post with accurate information!

Great time today. Group of 14. Being a newbie, I received the special fork!! Wonderful food and service. Thanks again for a great time.

We ate here for a late lunch today. The food and the service was awesome. We were most impressed with their patriotism though. They honored the veterans, first responders, and nurses while playing Lee Greenwood’s song, God Bless the USA”!
